CHARCOT-MARIE-TOOTH ASSOCIATION
The Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (CMTA) is a nonprofit organization with a mission to support the development of new drugs to treat Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT), improve the lives of those impacted by CMT and - ultimately - find a cure. This organization holds a special place in my heart, as I was diagnosed with CMT at 3-years-old. I've been involved for 7 years as a CMTA Youth Council Member, Social Media Intern and Camp Footprint Staff Member.
At the CMTA, I discovered my love for nonprofit work, content creation and disability advocacy.
LIMBITLESS SOLUTIONS
Limbitless Solutions is a nonprofit organization at UCF with a mission to empower individuals and increase accessibility through expressive technology, interdisciplinary teamwork and inclusive S.T.E.A.M. education. As a six-semester Outreach, Projects, Advocacy, and Logistics (O.P.A.L.) Associate Scholar, I have the privilege of leading a student team to produce engaging digital content that best follows the Limbitless brand and tells impactful stories.
Limbitless has taught me the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and professional development.
UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA
UCF's Social Media Ambassador program is a group of hand-picked students that help create content for the university, while gaining skills, experiences, and connections that enhance their life as Knights and their futures. As an ambassador, I enhance UCF’s social presence by advocating via personal social media platforms, participating in social media photo and video shoots, and have pitched and organized three social media videos highlighting disability awareness.
UCF's Social Media Ambassador Program has allowed me to channel my creativity to create engaging content for the Orlando community.
