Social media is today's most powerful advertising tool. Within a matter of seconds, a message can be sent to millions around the world. Because of social media's evolving nature, it's important to stay on-top of trends while sticking to your organizations' brand. I have experience developing and managing a social media calendar, organizing social media posting templates and composing content outlines for social media content.
SOCIAL MEDIA CALENDAR
A social media calendar via Google Sheets displays the post date, post topic, platform(s) the post will be published on, specifics of that post, and who on the team is responsible for the post. It also contains a color key that indicates the status of each post. Because the calendar is constantly changing, it's important to follow a key. This allows for proper organization and scheduling. Tabs at the bottom include brainstorm, meeting notes and important dates to be mindful of.
SOCIAL MEDIA POSTING TEMPLATE
A social media posting template contains all the information that will be included in a social media post: post topic, date/time, caption, content, platform(s), relevant tags, the name of who is posting, and initials of who approved the post. This allows a team to check for errors and make any necessary changes before publishing.
CONTENT OUTLINES
Content outlines display every piece of information needed to produce content. Outlines contain important dates, post descriptions, content visions, questions to consider and more. Planning a post in-detail ensures the message is clear and important information isn't overlooked.
