In August 2024, I started my full-time role as a Marketing Communications Specialist I. In this position, I oversee and curate social media content, design and implement email marketing campaigns, write articles & news stories, support the planning and promotion of special events, lead a team of marketing student interns, and handle internal marketing communications.

Email marketing is a crucial tool for UCF SVAD and the UCF Art Gallery to effectively engage with a large audience and promote events, exhibitions and share recent news. Using Mailchimp, I create targeted email campaigns for over 13,000 subscribers - helping to strengthen communication and foster a connection with the community.

Social media is an essential tool for engaging students and alumni of UCF's SVAD. As Marketing Specialist, I manage the social media calendar and strategy, assign post topics to marketing interns while sharing my vision to help bring them to life, mentor interns in creating graphics and visuals, approve final designs, and write engaging social media copy with compelling hooks and clear calls to action.
